NUDE WITH A CUSHION
At my drawing life's end, but with skills near their best, I devised a tool eclipsing the rest.
This instrument was a wedge of wax, cast in the shape of the blade of an axe.
Its edge was honed to a curving taper, giving instant gradations on smoother paper.
In fewer strokes the drawing was done. (With a life-time's experience before I'd begun.)
